Chapter 151
Edith cried and screamed as her beloved fiancé rescued her from danger, suffering severe head injuries. She nearly lost consciousness as blood continued to pour from her fiance’s head and her hands were covered in it. Passersby rushed to Edith’s aid, some calling for an ambulance to take Callum to the hospital.
Without waiting long, Callum was immediately taken to the nearest hospital. Edith ensured the hospital belonged to Erick’s family, as Erick was the only one she could trust to save Callum. While at the hospital, Edith continued to wait for Callum to regain consciousness in the VIP ward. Her gaze was blank, revealing the swollen eye bags from crying non-stop since the incident. In her mind now, she wanted to kill Yvette immediately because Yvette almost killed her.
Edith fought back her tears. She held her fiancé’s hand, which was on the IV drip, and kissed him on the cheek for a few seconds. Callum’s head was now bandaged, and her biggest fear was the seriousness of his head injury, which would lead to amnesia. She hoped he would still remember her and their little family.
Suddenly, Callum slowly moved his index finger. He opened his eyes and stared at his fiancée, who continued to cry, breaking his heart into pieces.
“Callum, do you recognize me? Your head hurts?” Edith asked frantically.
