Chapter 13 Are You Pregnant?
Fortunately, before Quincy got the result, Renee received a call from Alisa, asking them to return home immediately.
Renee knew very well that their divorce would be made public sooner or later. They couldn’t keep it a secret for long.
She intended to refuse, but when she met Quincy’s threatening gaze, she had no choice but to agree.
“Go back first. I’ll return home after a meeting.” Quincy glanced at Renee. “You’d better make Grandma happy p>
Renee was so angry that she wished she could beat Quincy to death.
But she didn’t dare to stay any longer. She was afraid that Quincy’s people would come back with the result. If Quincy knew about her pregnancy…
Renee decided to confirm with Riley to make sure that Quincy wouldn’t find out about the baby.
But Riley didn’t answer the phone.
As soon as Renee walked out of the elevator, Morris came over.
“Mrs. Patel, Mr. Patel sent a driver to take you home p>
Morris lowered his voice. Only Renee could hear him.
“No need. I can go there myself p>
“Mr. Patel said that his grandma is watching. If you take a taxi home alone, she’ll be sad p>
“Okay, I see.” Renee scolded Quincy inwardly again. He knew she couldn’t bear to make Alisa sad.
Renee went to Alisa’s place after work.
The small building was elegant, and the garden outside was unique. Renee liked this architectural style.
“Mrs. Alisa Patel, Mrs. Renee Patel is back p>
A maid happily told Alisa as soon as Renee reached the door.
“Renee, come and see if you like these things p>
Renee walked in with a smile and sat next to Alisa.
She felt guilty. Although Quincy didn’t like her, Alisa was kind to her.
“Renee, have you been sick lately? You don’t look well p>

Alisa greeted Quincy warmly, “Quincy, you came back late. We’ve been full. Lana, bring Quincy some soup. My dog had sterilization surgery yesterday. It hasn’t finished the soup specially made for it p>
Quincy raised his eyes and said lazily, “Grandma, give me some love, okay p>
How could Alisa let him have the soup made for a dog?

Renee couldn’t help but giggle. Alisa could be as mean as a child sometimes.
She did a good job!
Renee looked up and met Quincy’s gaze. She immediately lowered her head and focused on the soup, trying to hide her nervousness.
However, the soup was a bit cold. After taking a few sips, Renee suddenly gagged and rushed to the restroom, throwing up everything she had just eaten.
The atmosphere in the dining room changed.
It was oppressive and weird.
The servants could hardly breathe.
They held their breath and waited for orders.
Alisa stood up excitedly. “Renee is pregnant. I’m pretty sure of it p>
Renee turned pale upon hearing this.
She failed to hide her pregnancy.
Renee panicked when she turned around and saw the man standing at the door.
What should she do to keep the baby safe?
Renee followed Quincy out restlessly.
Alisa was so excited that her hands trembled. She grabbed Renee’s hands and asked, “Renee, why didn’t you tell me you were pregnant p>
Renee looked down in a panic. “Grandma, I… I p>
She didn’t want to deceive Alisa, but she couldn’t tell the truth.
Just then, Quincy’s phone rang.
The ring was like a thunderbolt out of a clear sky.
Renee was right next to Quincy, so she could see the words on the screen.
“This is Mrs. Patel’s examination result p>
Renee couldn’t hide her pregnancy from Quincy anymore.
She felt helpless.
