The two of them sat in silence, immersed in the breathtaking view, imagining the grand performances that might have unfolded here a thousand years ago.
Later, sunlight spilled across the shore, making the white sand sparkle like gold dust.
Olivia took off her shoes and walked barefoot on the beach, feeling the fine grains of sand slipping
between her toes.
Ethan carried her shoes in one hand and held her steady with the other, warning her to watch out
for shells and sharp stones.
By the sea, people were sunbathing, swimming, and surfing, their faces lit up with joyful smiles.
Olivia and Ethan wandered without a fixed destination. If they liked a city, they stayed longer. And when they felt ready, they moved on to the next.
Two months passed quickly.
By then, Ethan’s work had begun to pile up, and Olivia’s readers were eagerly waiting for her next comic. Reluctantly, the two of them ended their journey for now.
